Everyone says that when you turn 18, absolutely nothing happens. And they were right. I mean really right. Here I am, a week and a half into adult hood, and I couldn't tell you the difference between being 17 and being 18 except that everything is at least twice as expensive and I feel like I should be doing something productive all the time. Like thats going to happen.
I spent the first week sick doing jigsaw puzzles and watching movies. Oh, and doing Geometry homework. Did I mention the Geometry homework? Because there was a lot of it. As in, four days of it. Not as in an hour or so every day for four days, as in four straight days of Geometry homework. But thats over now, and when I came home I finished up the last of the homework, so its all in the mail and if everything goes according to plan I have just graduated from highschool.
Which is nice, since I'm already a semester into college and I could really use some financial aid.
Except now I'm not obligated to do anything that doesn't involve a computer, and thats irritating the feeling that I should be productive every second of every minute. I know. We can't all be busy all the time. All this sleeping is probably pretty good for me, since I didn't get much of it while I was in school. Its nice to read something unassigned, too.
And of course, the music. How could I forget the music? I'm busy with the guitar, which I have just realized can be used as something more than the open chords you put behind a song to make it sound better. (Okay, so I knew that before, but you sort of know what I mean.) I have been playing the same progression for something like an hour in an attempt to understand why my chords don't sound like the chords in the YouTube video. I suspect hammer ons/offs are the key to my confusion. Unfortunately that means several more hours dissecting this song until I understand how to play it like I'm actually a guitarist. Productive? Only if I'm serious about the rockstar thing. I'm pretty sure I'm serious though. Pretty sure.

| C/O Trilogy with A/O parts |
