| Happy Birthday ohfreckle (oops, 3 minutes late). Hope you had a great day and got some nice gifts and had some yummy cake ♥
| Spent the last two days at my friends home to play some Playstation 3 with him. Burnout Paradise rocks, EyePet not so much. The pet is pretty cute but I feel stupid playing with a virtual pet in front of the television. But I really liked the 'draw' option. You can paint something, like a car, on a piece of paper, hold it into the camera and then let the pet drive with it. I draw a penis car, lol. It looked quite nice actually.
| I'm really happy about Monday's episode of HIMYM. So much better this way.
| Already said it on Twitter and Tumblr but I want to say it again: Kris Allen's album is so good. I was also excited about OneRepublic's album but so far I don't really like it that much. Maybe it'll grow on me, maybe not. |

| Update of "Law & Order: 20 Years and Counting" |
[Nov. 11th, 2009|01:18 pm] |
| [ | mood |
| | good | ] | The Village Voice is detailing on the Paley Center's upcoming "Law & Order: 20 Years and Counting" event. (I originally reported on the matter, a while ago.) Dick Wolf, Rene Balcer, Sam Waterston and S. Epatha Merkerson are to be in attendance.
With my recent spotlighting of Balcer, I'll be paying extra attention to his musings. Of course, Waterston and Merkerson deserve to be there, as well, since they are the franchise's longest-running actors. Lord knows where we'd be without them. Meanwhile, I'll let you decide on the OP's "nothing else is on" swipe. Special thanks to ATW.

| Apologies and Gifts |
[Nov. 10th, 2009|05:20 pm] |
First, as the this post specifies, i need to apologise for the lack of updates to this story lately. This update would have been ready weeks ago, but i had my notebook stolen with all of my ideas in it and I just kind of lost the inspiration to write for a while. Thankfully i had it returned, probably because the perp couldn't read the damn thing. Thank God for short hand.
Anyway, as a gift to anyone who is still reading this story, I've made this post at least twice as long as i normally do. It probably won't be a regular length, at least not yet, so don't be disappointed if the next post is shorter.
So I'll shut up now, and let you get to reading. Enjoy, comments are welcome.

| "Users"/"Boy Gone Astray"/"Doped" ratings |
[Nov. 10th, 2009|01:07 pm] |
| [ | mood |
| | pleased | ] | Here are the ratings for "Users," "Boy Gone Astray" and "Doped." In fairness to SVU's low numbers, one could attribute the World Series for last week's turnout. The upshot is that "Boy Gone Astray" almost overtook Ghost Whisperer, and "Doped" won its hour, as well. Either way, it's decent cause to rejoice.
"Users":
FOX: World Series Game (21.8 million, 13.1/20) CBS: "Criminal Minds" (12 million, 7.5/12) NBC: "Law & Order: SVU" (8 million, 5.4/8) ABC: "Modern Family" (8.6 million, 5.2/8)/"Cougar Town" (6.8 million, 4.4/7) The CW: "The Vampire Diaries" rerun (1.4 million, 0.9/1)
18-49 leader: World Series Game (7.1) Link: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2009/11/tv-ratings-yankees-world-series-win-scores-for-fox-wednensday.html
"Boy Gone Astray":
CBS: "Ghost Whisperer" (7.9 million viewers, 5.0/9 households) NBC: "Law & Order" (7.9 million, 5.2/9) ABC: "Supernanny" (4.7 million, 3.2/6) FOX: "House" (3.9 million, 2.6/5) The CW: "Smallville" (2.7 million, 1.7/3)
18-49 leader: "Ghost Whisperer"/"Law & Order" (1.8) "Doped":
NBC: "Law & Order" (8.4 million, 5.4/9) CBS: "Medium" (7.5 million, 4.9/9) ABC: "Ugly Betty" (4.7 million, 3.2/6) FOX: "Bones" (4 million, 2.6/4) The CW: "America's Next Top Model" (1.1 million, 0.8/1)
18-49 leader: "Law & Order" (1.9) Link: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2009/11/tv-ratings-cbs-takes-top-spot-2020-captures-demos-friday.html
Update: Sorry about the "Users" text. I'm still getting used to Zap2it.com's formatting.
Update 2 (11/11): I did a few clean-up edits, which should compensate for the rushed editing. |
